Who we are

A HomeSchool Resource Center, here for your family

AliYah is Hebrew for 'Rise Up.' Founded in 2014, our non-profit Homeschool Resource Center and umbrella school has helped families homeschool freely, in all 50 states and beyond.

Our story

AliYah Academy is a non-profit Homeschool Resource Center and umbrella school for homeschoolers. Founded in 2014 and registered with the Tennessee Association of Church Related Schools, we serve families in all 50 states and internationally.

We are the liaison between your family and the state — we fulfill your legal obligations so you can homeschool freely. We are non-denominational, and no statement of faith is required for our umbrella families. We are grounded in a Biblical worldview, and we recognize that our relationship with the Creator is a journey that looks different for every family.

We hold to the Biblical principle that education begins at home, with parents training up and educating their own children. Families are the cornerstone of our society. We are here to help you on your homeschool journey.

Family-led education

We believe education begins at home. Parents are the teachers; we take the legal and administrative load off your shoulders.

Non-denominational, grounded in faith

No statement of faith is required for our umbrella families. We are grounded in a Biblical worldview, and we welcome every family, wherever you are on the journey.

Full service, real support

Official records, transcripts, compliance, counseling, and on-demand help — the things other umbrella schools can leave you to figure out alone.

Volunteers

Powered by families

So much of what happens here — event days, field trips, graduation, and life at the HomeSchool Resource Center — runs on volunteers. Parents, grandparents, and alumni give their time to set up, teach, organize, and cheer, and we don’t take a single one of them for granted.

Prayer is part of how we serve, too. We pray over this school, its families, and its students — and we’d be honored to have you pray with us. If you can’t give your time, covering our families in prayer is every bit as welcome.

Want to serve alongside us? We’d love to have you — sign up right here and we’ll find a place for you.
